New resources
Dear all,
We now have access to the British Standards Online. We are working to get it accessible through your Athens login, however at the moment it is only accessible through the following link: https://bsol.bsigroup.com/en/BsolHomePage/

Another resource that I just wanted to draw your attention to is an open access repository called ROSE. It is run by the University of Bristol and seems to have a good collection of Engineering Mathematics and Electrical and Electronic engineering materials. You need to submit your e-mail address to get access, but it is very simple to access. Please take a look: http://rose.bris.ac.uk/dspace/

Reading Lists
Hi all,
The new budgets have now been released and I can now start to order books into the library. I know that I have had some requests already, but I would be grateful if you could start to send over your reading lists for modules to me. I will start to cross check what we have in stock and order appropriately.

British Standards Update
Hi,
I have just had some more news about the British Standards Online. It is due to be launched on the 21st September 2009. There is also a training session planned to take place on the 18th September 2009 at 2pm so you can come and learn all about the resource. Please let me know if you want to attend and I will make provisions for you.
I hope that you will find it very useful and that your students will also be able to make good use of this fantastic resource.

British Standards online database
